R.L. Coffield is an award winning freelance writer born and reared in Oregon, currently living in Wickenburg, Arizona. Coffield has garnered awards for works in nonfiction as well as fiction, and the author's works have appeared in local, regional, and national publications.
The author also does powerpoint presentations, teaches writing classes and seminars, and presents various programs.
Married with two grown sons, Coffield is an accomplished sailor, having made several ocean passages traveling over 25,000 miles aboard her sailboat, Cabaret. She enjoys horseback riding, fishing, hiking, golfing, traveling, camping and motorcycle riding.
Coffield attended Lincoln High School, received her B.A. Degree in English at Portland State University, and her Masters Degree from Lewis and Clark College.
